What You Will Get to Do
Once you arrive at the FET FASHION studio, all materials needed to learn about this project will be provided to you at no extra cost. You will be able to choose your preferred fabric color, thread, needles, and buttons from a variety of options. You will get a step-by-step guide on how to do the perfect hand stitch method required for various parts of a garment.
By the end of this class, each participant will have done the following projects and know where to use them on various garments;
Essential Stitches
- Running/straight Stitch
- Backstitch
- Overcast stitch
- Blanket stitch
- Zigzag stitch
- Blind Stitch
- How to sew on buttons
- The class is 100% beginner-friendly; no experience is needed.
- Perfect for group fun activities, birthday parties, bachelorette or bachelors parties and hangouts, “fun something” with friends/hangouts, or if you just want to learn how to sew.
- You do not need to have a group to take this class; you can come alone and add a lifetime value to yourself.
- You are also allowed to BYOB; we will provide cups.
- With good music of your choice in the background, let’s party and sew along!
